Truly Rooted Kids was established in 2021 by Ashton Bohannon with the mission of ensuring that children experience salvation and spiritual training at the earliest possible age, enabling them to live fulfilling Christian lives. The sooner a child accepts Jesus Christ as their Savior, the more enriching their life will be.​

Once a child is redeemed, they are protected from the control of adversarial forces. However, it is essential that they receive proper instruction and training to live their lives in accordance with Christian principles. With effective training and development, all children can thrive and surpass average expectations achieving success in a world where many face obstacles.  With these objectives in mind, Truly Rooted Kids provides group ministry services for children and youth aged 0 to 20, emphasizing training in righteousness and truth.

Truly Rooted Kids' primary objective is to foster a deeper relationship with Christ while safeguarding children from all forms of spiritual attack. To achieve this goal, we focus not only on directly equipping children but also on collaborating with parents and church leaders. This partnership enables children to effectively withstand every challenge posed by adversarial forces providing empowerment to children by strengthening their leaders. Our multifaceted strategy prioritizes a child's well-being as they progress toward personal responsibility. ​
